We regularly receive shipments of rugs. Rugs from India in the Tea wash style are brand new but feature hundred year old persian designs in rich green and gold color schemes or bold, dramatic reds, golds, and blacks.
Older, second-hand rugs from Persian Iran are vibrantly colored (many in strong reds and blues, recalling original dyestuffs, indigo and madder) and can have strong geometric tribal patterns (from the village weavers) or the intricate stylized floral patterns of the big city weavers.
